Dear Blog,
I have been remiss! 2015 has been such an astounding year of creativity and experiment that I haven't updated you! As I launch into a another busy year a few highlights include directing Gogol's "Government Inspector" for the fierce UCD cast and writing " Marriage Material" with Berkeley Rep's youth training program, my third commission for BRTSOT.
2015 marked the third successful run of PantoSF, back at Marine's Memorial Theatre with my SF version of "Cinderella" starring Pegg E L'eggs and Kitten on the Keys killing it at Christmas!
Teaching included two session of Director's Training for Berkeley Rep, play creation for the BRT youth and a life goal achieved, teaching Acting and Improvisation classes for San Francisco City College, a relationship that promises to develop over time.
Casting many small projects, but the jewel in the crown had to be local PM i.e. casting/location and crewing for the ambitious national ad campaign for the centenary of the National Parks Service.
2016 whats in store?
Already deep into another director's training, new CCSF sessions with packed classes and casting for a dream project, " Dancing at Lughnasa" at Novato Theatre Company in May.
I hope to keep writing for BRT youth and PantoSF's newest show in 10 months time! May my original scripts get some deserved attention from Mama! Send good wishes for "Señora Julie" and " Dimitri" my Shostakovic/Stalin play. Also looking for a big hearted home for " Home Girl", details to follow on this exciting project.
